Hey guys I'm only 18 but in the near future I'm going to be purchasing a Ram SRT-10. I haven't yet had a vehicle's insurance in my name so it would kind of be new for me and I know it will be expensive. Not only because I am a teenager, but also because it's an expensive truck, and it's giong to be my first vehicle insured in my name.

Please post me the costs of your insurance rates and what you think mine would be for full coverage.

The insurance companies currently insure the SRT-10 the same as the RAM 1500. It was about $500 a year to add my truck to my existing policy. Now that is with a multi car discount, no tickets, accidents etc....

If you have a clean record, would guess your insurance would be around $850-$950 a year.

 

mmmm_torque is right my insurance company sees my truck as a 1500 ram I pay $840 a year

 

Not mine, my 4x4 2005 1500 is $40 less a half than my 04 SRT. Wit that said I only pay $330 for the SRT a half.

 

I had an '87 RX-7 Turbo and a '94 RX-7 Twin Turbo on the same policy back when I was 20. It was around $200/month....with a clean record. And I shopped it around every renewal to keep it low.

 

Hey i have reckless driving on my record and still got one insured for a fair price. I mean it was like 3000 and i know that is alot but like i said i have reckless driving on my record so if you are clean it should not be much more than a normal 1500 dodge truck. Pm me if you want more info
