I know the 05 is a ways away from production but I am looking to trade in my Quad Cab Dually for a Quad Cab SRT-10. All the literature I have found online says that the new 05 will only come with the automatic. I hope this is an option rather than a standard feature. The true power of this motor can only be had with a manual transmission. I asked the dealer when the 05's were to start rolling off the production line and I got a date of January of 05. Of course the dealers are about as knowledgable about cars as a 2 year old. Does anyone else have any other info on the quad cab delivery dates? I'm very excited about getting my hands on one of these trucks and still having the use of a quad cab.

I was also told the production of the SRT-10 was going to be bumped which will hopefully tone down the price increases dealers are adding to the vechicles. If the dealer tries to gouge me for another 5K over sticker than I will wait for one that won't or find a use one. I refuse to pay over sticker on anything. I was hoping to see more conversation stired up on the 05 on here. Jump in if you have any info I'm looking for. Thanks!!!

 

hi there i too am on the list for the 05 srt but no the quad cab will be an automatic. but the reg cab will be the viper fueled as the 04. cant wait

 

Hi ther, I own an 04 SRT 10, what a ride. All the info I have seen on 05 Quad says the auto trans is an option, I will keep digging on that one tho
