I have issues. Could not wait until this winter to do the exhaust.

Just ordered

Coated Belanger long tubes
Catless mid pipes
Magnaflow CAT back

These trucks stock are way to quiet, I like to hear my truck/car when shifting, helps to know when to shift, or I could have saved thousands and installed a light. Where is the fun in that though? And the light would not sound good and would not give me a 40 RWHP and torque gain

The downside, 2-3 weeks before it gets here..... [:'(]

Talking to Roe Racing I was not sure about going high flow or catless as I want to suprercharge in a year and I hear the Paxton would rather have cats, well I am going with the Roe superchrager now, due out the end of this year. Top mount twin screw supercharger.

I will document and take pics of the install.

there were several roe powered vipers at the norwalk event last year and they were quick...

Congratulations!!! Those are some nice mods and I am sure you will take that daily grin to the next level

The new Roe SC should be pretty sick and looking forward to see it installed on someones truck.

I have HF/Cats and pretty happy with them. Heard its easier to tune the S/C with some back pressure and helps with consistant boost #'s.

Drop us some pics when you get it done!

I talked to them about that. They said with the Paxon being a cyntrifical supercharger that is true. He also noted the Paxton will generate its peak power at higher RPMs, 4500-6000, so back pressure would help to get the peak a little lower in the range, which I would assume is good as when you hit 6000 RPM it is about time to shift. With the Roe they explained the power band is 2500-4500 and with the twin screw top mount supercharger the lack of backpressure would not be an issue. They also mentioned their superchrager would be more responsive as there is a smaller lag over the cyntrifical design.

With that said of course they would try to sell their product, but they also know it well enough to say yes or no to cats. I do know the Viper community loves them on their cars, and they look good too. Pricing is suppose to be under the Paxton.

it would make sense to me that the "roots style" supercharger would have less negative aspects...if im not mistaken, the paxton is a side mount unit, and has some piping run to the TB? so you would effectively lose some boost through those few feet of piping as well as the heat gathered as it moves through the metal piping.
