srt 10 lowering/handling
Hello. Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket suspension kits for an '06 srt 10?
I'm looking to lower the truck and improve handling.
What parts company did you use?
How did the truck ride after?
How much does it cost?
How much lower is your truck now?
Any problems with installation?
Any information would be a huge help.thanks

X-Metal www.x-metal.com talk to Gary (Boomer)
How did the truck ride after?
Much improved handling with no impact to ride quality.
How much does it cost?
Varies depending on if you budle it with other mods.... Believe the basic cost is around the $675 range.
How much lower is your truck now?
1 1/2 " in the front and 2 1/2 inches in the back. Looks great!
Any problems with installation?
Nope, fairly straight forward but a two man job.
Any information would be a huge help.thanks
This is the best kit on the market, you can spend less but you will get what you pay for. This kit has a long list of supporters. I have ran it on road courses and on the street. Definitetly improves handling over stock

I have a 04 with extensive testing of various suspension components from different manufactures. While you will need to lower your truck to improve handling that will not get you to a necessarily better handling truck. You will also want to consider upgrading the shocks to at least single adjustable, or double if your budget permits, to fit your driving preferences. I would also suggest replacing the rubber bushings on your sway bars with poly units. You must also consider the tires and choose them to meet your goals.
It is not simply a bolt on and run proposition. You can add one component at a time and do your own testing. But there is no silver bullet - john
