Has anyone got the factory borla exhaust put on, I am interested about gas mielage and how it sounds, also has anyone got the Volant ram air kit?

 

i installed an aftermarket borla exhaust about a month after buying my 05 qc.the sound was louder but i was never quite sure if it felt any faster.then...i added the volant cold air intake.it was a match made in heaven.now i felt a difference.as i contemplate my next move,i'm more than happy with the first two.

 

You are not going to gain any MPG from a CAT back. The difference if any would be a tenth, maybe two, but the sound will make you hit the gas a bit more, resulting in less MPG.

As for the Volant many reports have the CAI's not give the SRT-10 Ram much gains, including the Volant. A drop in K&N into the stock box is what many do.

 

the last thing you should worry about with this kind of truck is gas mileage........
