Why DC put 4 cats on the truck is beyond me, I would say it had to do with emissions, but the Viper is OK with 2.
Car emissions requirements and Truck emissions requirements are much different

They probably also didn't have the space for 4 on the Viper.

Why is it easier for a QC to reach the 12's then a RC? A RC can get deep into the 12's with just exhasut, intake and headers.

Traction.....PCM flash, mids, catback has got several QC's into the 12.s. It takes more mods, Caltracs and DR's/Slicks to get a RC deep into the 12's.

There have been a couple that ran 12.8-9's but anything deeper usually has quite a few more mods.

Here are a few examples, not all mods or DA's listed.

Naturally Aspirated with Street tires
FlyingLow QC 12.71@108.39 Stage2/K&N/Borla sans rear cats
Mopar_Mudder RC 12.77@109.67 Headers/exhaust/Ram Air

Jrgnd QC 12.978 @107.55MPH Headers/Hi-Flow Cat Mids/Catback/CAI/Tune
mmmmtorque RC 13.01@109mph DA:2600'
ViperTruck2933 RC 13.07@108mph Headers/Tune
OCBob QC 13.3 @ 101 DC Stage2, Borla Catback
AWDIsuzu QC 13.5@103 / DC stage2, one header (off now) 3" exhaust
1-FAST-SRT-10 QC 13.1 @108MPH
DJ CHEROKEE QC 15.199 92.29 STOCK

Hey DJ!

Things are going well, thanks Any mods planned for the QC of yours ?

Yeam the last GTG was fun but a bit short and lacking in beer [sm=alcoholic.gif]

I think 1Fast400 is working on a track event at the end of Oct....its 1/8 mile but fun none the least.

Have a good one and catcha later..

Awesome!! Those mods will turn that truck into a completely different beast [sm=badbadbad.gif]

I am not aware of any emission checks here in NC. You might need to go someplace cool for the state inspection but other than that should be fine

Will drop Mike a line and see when we can nail down a date for that GTG

sorry if i'm beating a dead horse by asking this but i was wondering what you guys were getting to the wheels with your srt-10's? also does anyone have any time slips or anything or even know what they run in the 1/4? my brother and i were talking and i was just wondering how bad you guys would beat me in my hemi or how close it will be once i get my sts turbo. any info on or pertaining to that stuff would be great! thanks guys.
I'd be real carefull with any STS/Turbo...we have Trucks that have had more than one engine because of the STS/Turbo!
There are other ways to force feed her.....

641/rwhp
620/rwtq
91/octane/pump/gas
8.3#'s/boost @ 6200/rpm
Water/Methnal Injected 50/50

The supercharger kinda takes away your first gear with street tires on......
