Default Sad days ahead......

Watching the local weather reports this week are putting me into a little bit of a funk. I just got my truck August 1st, and today is October 10th. Yeah, rain and snow are in the forcast for the metro Detroit area thursday and friday. No, thats not enough to put her up for the winter, but thats a sign that wont be very far away. I'm really bummed! I have my Dakota to drive this winter (i thought that V8 had some pep, lol) but next winter, i'm out of luck cause that lease is up. But regardless, i'm not ready to send my SRT10 into hibernation.
505HP plus rear wheel drive plus SNOW=

Generally speaking the driving seasion is April 1 thru the begining of Dec. There are those odd ball days. Last year at the end of Nov we had 80 degrees! I remember, I got the Viper out and cleaned the garage.

It could be worse, I do not drive mine in the rain, that really cuts into the driving seasion. I still need to clean up the bottom side as I did hit reain getting it home.

Well i've lucked out, not a whole lot of rain this season, but it doesnt stop me. If anything, she almost takes the rain better than my Dakota, undoubtedly due to the massive tires. I've had to get on her to have it break loose. it almost makes me second guess putting it up in a garage for the winter because it is just a lease (and i highly doubt i'll be able to throw down to buy it outright at the end of the lease), just not use it when there's snow on the ground. Hell last winter we might have had maybe 5 good snow events. But, its better to be safe than sorry. 505ponies is a hell of a lot to put up against old man winter.

and just a little side note, GO DETROIT TIGERS
