Out Of Curiosity
I have a bonus check coming in next month from work, plus in a few months it'll be income tax time. Anyone know how much a Viper motor would be? I have a idea about swapping out the 4.7L V8 in my '05 Ram QC but leaving the outside stock looking, except for switching out the hood for a SRT-10 model.
Any ideas?

There are other things suspension wise you would also be missing.Taking everything into consideration you would be much better to get a SRT and put 20s on it, pull the ground effects and replace the bumpers, would be cheaper and easier if that is the look you are after.

Roughly $7500 for a used engine. You then have exhaust, tranny, PCM, new complete rear and all the plumbing and cooling. You also should upgrade the brakes, stopping is important, although the SRT brake coolers will not work with the standard Ram bumper. Then you still do not have the red button There are other things suspension wise you would also be missing.
