Newby here. But glad to be here. Just bought a 05 srt10 Quad cab w/38 miles on it. At 70 mph there is a bad wind noise coming from the windsheld area . Any ideas what it could be.

 

Hard to say what it is, however check your door seals, down near the windshield, are they ripped where the door catches it when it opens? If so you can get them replaced under warranty with a new design. Not that the rip is what is causing the noise, but it looks bad. All I ever hear in my car is my aftermarket exhaust

 

Thanks I'll check that out. Speaking of exhaust. I want to put the magnaflow cat back system on my truck ,but I was told they would void my warranty. Is this true and will that system fit the Quad cab model.

 

A cat back exhaust will not void a warranty. I asked that question when I bought my 05 Hemi Ram to the dealership. Yes, Magnaflow makes a QC version. I have it on my RC 04, but I also have catless mids and long tube headers, get a bit loud.

 

i just bought my srt qc a month ago and im having the same problems with the wind noise inside the cab it gets annoying..besides that i love my truck.. i did buy it with 64,xxx miles on it which i thought was to much but it has no problem car fax was clean..
