hello to all,im a new to me srt 10 owner just got it a week ago 4900 mile reg cab what a awesome truck this is.i have a question for all. how can i get a license plate bracket for this truck its an 06. the dodge dealer cant locate one. i live in jersey and need to have a front plate on the truck for inspection. the dodge dealer in my area told me to drill holes on the front and mount it. im not going to start drilling holes in a 50000 truck before i weight all my options. maybe u guys and. gals have some suggestion or places that sell them. the dealer was looking at his microfish but found nothing. how can they not make a bracket for this truck?

Well, that is how you do put on the stock frame.
Options? You could put it behind your grill or black mesh in the bumper.
Other than that you do not have many options. The bumper is not metal and there really is no way to "clip" it on.

heres what you do. get yoursels some 2 in screws and nuts, prob2 reg nuts and 2 lock nuts. Get some tube spacers to go around the screws (you will need to cut them to legnth). Get some fender washers, preferably at least 1 in outer dia (for support). also some smaller washers for the plate. Get yourself some black or clear rubber bump stops, Like the ones on the back of your home cabinet doors just biger. Now use the bolts and fender washers and spacers to create 2 posts that attach to your lower black grill. like this, screw goes through the following, Washer, License Plate, washer, Non locking nut, tube rod, fender washer, Black grill, fender washer on back side, locking nut. This will hold the plate on and you wont need to drill that beautifull bumper. If the plate is close to the bumper anywhere use therubber bump stops. I hope this helps.
