Default Bringing Plastic Bumper Covers Back To Life!!

Anyone know of a way to bring bumper covers and mirrors back to life? I've tried ArmorAll and it lasts for a few days and when it rains it runs down the doors and bumpers and leaves streakes.

Looking for a good way to look good and last.~~~~~~~~~~~Thanks.................Ron

Hey Ron. The best way i have found is to clean with laquer thinners and then take a can of bumper black and give it a light dusting. I do this a couple of times a year and it keeps them looking fresh year-round. It just takes minutes to do. the stuff (armor all ect.) you apply just builds up and makes them look crappy.

Hello Ron. It is in a spray can and can be purchased at most any auto parts store. Clean the part good with laquer and then lightly spray. you don't have to apply it heavy. works real good. Bumper black is a satin finnish as you do not want a high gloss.

I would like to add that this paint is not high build so it will not build up on the bumper. keep in mind this paint is not glossy so do not apply it real heavy. Generally one coat is enough. Spray a coat and let it dry before deciding if it needs another coat. as i stated one coat is generally enough. I have tried all the cleaners and they just tend to look crappy as they will build up on the plastic.
