2000 2500 no brake lights
I noticed this same exact model and the same exact problem listed in this forum a couple of years back.... but no useful response was left.
I am sure all fuses, bulbs and the brake switch are good (I replaced the switch only because I could not check the old one in place and it warned against re-installing). Everything works.... everything except the brake lights.I do not have an electricalschematic. Could anyone confirm that there is a possibility that a bad turn signal switch could be the culprit.... thanks

The brake light wiring routes through theturn signal switch only for the left and right brake lights. The center brake light comes directly off of the brake light switch. So if the center light is not working (bulbs good) and you're getting +12v on both sides of the brake switch (while depressed) then the problem is likely the splice in the W/T wire that comes off of the brake switch.
