Hey! Anyone done this? I gota Reese hitch the other day, and looking' like I gotta take the rear bumper off to get it up and over things down there to bolt it on.....either that, or the fuel tank hose.....never like messin' with fuel stuff. Started takin' off the bumber, but it's pretty rusted. The ends just turn, and seem to be rotted out some.
Any tips to make this easier? If not, anyone have an exploded view of the rear bumper? I think I counted 10 bolts holding it on.....did I miss any?
Thanks!

I put a Reese universal class-2 hitch on a 2000 B1500 van. The bumper was NOT a step bumper, so the job was easy. Plus, the Dodge Ram Vans after 1998 have the rear tire mounted under the van vs. the pre-1998's that had the fuel tank located near the rear. The 1998-2003 are the best years to put a hitch on. I had to drill a few holes, but all and all the job wasn't bad. It did take some time though.
Like Alloro said, year and what model number is the van?
