some jackhole broke in & destroyed my dashboard while stealing my stereo. Repair place says the dashboard/dash coveris not made anymore and is scouring the universe for one.

any ideas?

Are you talking about the plastic dash panel that goes around the instrument cluster, radio, and center vents?
Which engine and model of van (1500, 2500, 3500)?

 

yes, I believe it's what you described as it goes around the radio,spedometer,etc. To be clear, it'sthe removable piece of the dash on the driver side...there is still dash to the right by the glove box...and dash towards the glass on the entire front.Just the Dash part which surrounded the instrument panel is gone.

its a Mark III conversion, 2500 engine.
