I'm a newbie here and I know this seems like a simple q, but I'll be doing this for a friend so I'm just trying to avoid potential pitfalls.</P>


My friend has a fs Ram van, late '80s I believe..........don't know that it matters 'cause the front door glass was the same from '71 to '96 or so according to junkyards. We've got the front glass, but like I said this needs to go smoothly.</P>


So, anything weird I should know about replacing the front glass in the front driver's door? Special tools req'd? Anything else? Hidden fasteners, etc? I'm assuming the door panel is just retained with a few screws and "Xmas tree" fasteners?</P>


I searched but didn't find anything on the topic of front window replacement</P>
