hey guys, I'm new here and am in the process of restoring my ol 77' dodge tradesman 200. Its got a 318 auto tranny and is pretty much "pimped" to the tillies, but anyways, I was wondering if someone could lead me into the right direction as to find out if there are any diesel motors that can be swapped into this old girl, thanx guys! and I'm looking foward to being a part of the family.

The only thing that can be shoe horned into the ram vans that is diesel is the Cummins turbo diesel 4 banger. It has plenty of punch and torque too. It about equals the 5.2L/318cid and the fuel economy is alright. A donner 1500 truck or Jeep is an option.
