I've gotten as far as removing the fuel tank. I have been attempting to unscrew the locknut to remove the old pump, but I cannot make it budge. Is cutting it off the only other solution or is there a lubricant that *might* free this up. thanks.

You can try WD-40 but it's tough to get it up into the threads. Your best bet is to tap it with a hammer and screwdriver and work your way around the locknut. Don't keep hitting the same spot.

I got frustrated and just cut the damn thing off. The dealership had one in stock so I was in luck. The new pump is in and I can drive the van again. It's still stalling and having trouble starting, but I'll follow up with questions in my old thread.

Thanks to everyone.
