1998 Dodge Ram Van 1500
Hi,
I am now deciding on replacing my old 1998 Dodge Ram Van 1500.
It is for sale. It has 25,000 miles and has A/C, ABS Brakes, V-6 Cylinder 150 HP Fuel injected engine, two Airbags, two bucket seats. It has 4 New York State Parkway Windows in rear 18 inces X 18 inches. This allows this small van to drive on NYS Parkways. It has a FM stereo radio. It has a bare metal interior. It is a cargo van I use for my wheelchair.
I am sad to say my next replacement van will not be a Dodge or Chrysler. It will be a GMC Savana 1500 or a Chevrolet Express 1500. They are the same van. They both cost $23,000. Cheap!
This new van will have a nice soft interior like a conversion.
*** Dodge tried to sell me a Dodge Sprinter, but it was to tall and they do not sell anything in the 1998 Dodge Ram Van 1500 class range. The Sprinter cost $36,000. So that left me with Ford or GM, so, I am going GMC Savana. I also hear that the GMC Savana has a softer ride than the Dodge Ram Van and Ford.
So, my questions are, how much should I expect to get for my 1998 Dodge Ram Van 1500? What is the Blue Book Value?
Are there any van replacements you think I should look at?
I love my 1998 Dodge Ram Van 1500, but in this world, nothing lasts forever and I don't want to waste my precious life repairing my van. I am also getting a Jazzy Wheelchair for it. I need hip socket replacement surgery.
