The van only blows out of the floor and windshield defrost. Before I put new blower and resistor it would work on all. If I put it for the air to flow from the dash it is still blowing from the floor and defrost. All speeds work now. Did I install something wrong? Do I need to re-wire the resistor? What actually controls the position the air comes from?[:@]

Relax, you probably accidentally yanked the heat/AC vacuum line off of the intake manifold while changing the blower. It's on the passenger side of the engine and has a check valve in-line.

The intake manifold side is connected. The other longer end has no home. When I plug the hole everything works fine.

That same heat/AC vacuum line feeds the cruise control and 4x4 system,if equipped. The end with no home could be for one of those if you have either.

The vacuum line coming from the Intake comes to a T under the hood. A smaller line feeds to the driver side and the one with no home seem to have been held down by a bracket on the side where the blower motor goes

What if I just stuck a screw in it would hurt anything. When it is plugged everything seems to work fine
