'99 ram van 5.2L 1500

I want to flush out the power steering.

The manual says do not use trans fluid etc. etc. only mopar PS fluid - part # XXXXXXXXXX.

Any recomendations such as a universal or must I actually use Mopar fluid?

 

No you don't have to use the Mopar fluid, but you do have to use PS fluid and not tranny fluid.
