I have a 1994 B350 with the 360 in it and i can not get it to go over 30 mph, i took it to a mechanic and he said it is the fuel pump that is causing this, it runs strong up until that speed. Does this sound right or could it be something else? thanks

 

It's a definite possibility. Did he happen to mention if he did a fuel pressure test? If so, what was the reading?

 

no he didnt he just said there was not enough pressure being supplied to provide the engine enough fuel, but it starts up and runs fine and you can rev it up, and all that it just falls flat on its face at 30-35 mph

 

If he didn't do a fuel pressure test, then he's just guessing (at your expense.)

 

ok i guess when he opens back up on monday i will have to talk with him to see what exeactly he did..thanks
