hey folks, i have some trouble with the fuel injection on a 1988 Ram Van - on GM vehicles i'm used to work with WinALDL to read the trouble codes and sensor data with my PC

is there a similar (inexpensive) software solution/interface for this matter for older Dodge vehicles?

 

FLIP THE KEYSWITCH ON,OFF,ON,OFF,ON AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL FLASH A SERIES OF TIMES. POST THE NUMBERS THAT ARE DISPLAYED AND I WILL LOOK THEM UP IN MY CODE BOOK AND TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE.

 

before you just start turning it on and off the, manufactorssuggest that you turn it on and go through all the gears and back to neutral with the p.break set or in park, then turn the engine off, then turn the electric (but not the engine)on, off, on, off, on....then it ll start blinking, count the numbers wait for the pause then count the numbers wait for a pause and continue counting the flashes until it stops...
