You have to pull out the instrument cluster to change it. Once the cluster is out give the socket a 1/4 turn to the left and pull it out. The bulb can then be pulled out of the socket.

If you are limber and have skinny arms you can sometimes grab them from below too. Then you have to do everything by feel.

I tried that and was not able to.

Any tricks on removing the cluster? I have not tried yet and don't want to goof it up.

We could tell you, but then there would be no fun in it for the rest of us.

I have the same problem. Is it necessaary to remove the kick plate from below the steering wheel or can I remove the cluster bezel easily with a thin tool to release the clips? I would appreciate any advice. Need a new Check engine bulb
Thanks
