Checked the ground wireclean and tight. I have been driving around town with no trouble at all. Maybe the starter relay (which is now the auto shut-off relay) caused the problem on my way home? being the same age as the old auto shut-off relay.

 

Did you also check where the ground wire attaches to the engine, sometimes you can get corrosion there also.
