My 90 workvan(V6) although very reliable is suffering from terminal rust. I have the opportunity to buy a 95 van(V6) in better shape body wise. Since some of the parts I've replaced on the 90 are still fairly new I was wondering if they would fit the 95? Such as alternator,starter,rad,fuel pump etc. Can I salvage these parts and keep them as spares for the 95 2500 or were there changes over the years that would prevent this? Karl

 

No can do from '90 to a '95. The '90 parts fit all the way up to 1993-1/2. Then a complete redesign of the Ram Van/Wagon takes place in 1994 for Generation-2. 1994 to 1997 are mainly a 100% match. Then, 1998 to 2003 are a 100% match. Some 1994-2003 things do swap over back and forth in the Gen-2 era, but it's always good to check first.
