Default 97 RAM Van 3500 Throttle Position Sensor??? - Code 24

I have an error code 24, which, according to a friend, is the Throttle Postion Sensor (TPS). Where would that be located on a 97 RAM Van 3500, 5.9L engine? We may have some tranny problems, the van seems to get "confused" between 3rd gear and overdrive, bouncing back and forth a bit (but most of the time no problem at all). Occasionally, it will lurch even at lower speeds (very intermittent also), so we thought it was related to a fuel problem. So, help on the location of the TPS and help on diagnosis would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's mounted to the side of the throttle body opposite of the side with the throttle cable.
