Default Help please

I have a 2002 Dodge ram van 1500 with a 5.2L. Back in November I had to replace the computer (no bus code on odometer) while doing that I also replaced the ignition coil and the crankshaft sensor. Two weeks ago I run into the same problem, cranks wont start. I now have replaced the computer, ignition coil, crankshaft sensor and the pick-up module and the cap and rotor. Still will not start.(no codes present when hooked up to a scanner) It also is getting fuel. I had the remote start disconnected and still nothing. I feel like I am throwing parts at it now. Can anyone help?

Your new coil or crank sensor could be bad. I know you changed them a couple of months ago , but even new parts can fail.

Might try switching the ASD relay with a known good one such as the Starter or Fuel Pump relay. If that does not solve the problem or switch the problem to a different circuit then as Alloro said recheck the other parts that you have already put in the van. Even the PCM.

I read and been told that PCMs rarely fail by the selves. Usually something causes them to fail like a sensor with no resistance or a shorted wire from a sensor. If the PCM fails within a short time, something is causing it to fail.

I know mine failed because the one hot wire leading to neutral safety switch was grounding out on the trannies bell housing.

I've owned my 93 B-150 for 7 years and have been thru 3 computers, PCMs, SMECs, or whatever you want to call them. There's nothing else wrong with the van's wiring or sensors.

It has been especially painful for me because my van has a 5-speed Aisin trans which requires a difficult to find manual trans SMEC. Luckily the Dakota SMEC for 3.9L manual trans works in my B-150 or I'd be screwed.

This part is a weak link in the Ram chain IMHO.
