97 Dodge b3500 cranks no start
I picked up this Dodge van 2 weeks ago. It is an extended 1 ton that had a wheelchair lift in the rear. When the van still had the lift in it ran great according to a friend of mine. The owner pulled the lift out and now it won't start. The fuel pump doesn't sound like it is running and I have no voltage at the coil. I have switched around relays and fuses under the hood with no luck. In addition when I turn the ignition on I have no check engine light. Everything else lights up though. Would there be a lockout relay for the wheelchair lift shutting things down or did something fail at the same time? Thanks!
I would suspect that a fuse was blown when the lift was removed. There should be a 30-amp fuse in the box under the hood that supplies power to the ASD and fuel pump relays. This is the one you should look at first.
