transvan question
i need some help with this. i just got a 1979 dodge trans van rv. the van, i was told has a 318, but im not really for sure. the problem is it has points and none of the local parts stores are listing points on this year of van. anybody know what points would fit in this? it only has one set. any help would be appreciated

If it has points, something's been replaced. a '79 shouldn't have points, it should have electronic ignition.
Do you have the VIN# for the van? That's the best way to tell what engine your rig came with. To know what engine is in there, we'd need to get the number off the block.
