I have been summoned to assist a friend with a Dodge Van . She had driven it earlier today, when she went out to start it later she said it started fine she backed out into the roadway and it died. She tried to start it and it just turns over without a hitch. I came over to check it out, I have not owned a Dodge so I was at a loss as to where the fuel filter was or it this could be a coil issue. I took the coil wire and turned it over with the wire loose and got no spark as I moved it around on the coil. I applied a bit of fuel down the barrels but since it obviously has fuel injection that was not the best of ideas or even helped it start. The friend is very strapped for cash and the vehicle is a loaner from a church member. If any one has any ideas on wherre to start or if the coils on Dodge products are suspect after 150K miles let me know I am trying to get her by in as cheap a way as possible.
