Default Instrument cluster lights not working

I just acquired a 96 b2500 and the instrument cluster lights do not work. The turn signals work, the service light works. My grandfather says that the bulbs are out but i find it hard to believe that all 4 bulbs burnt out.. 1 for each gauge. The fuses are all good. all my lights work as far as the headlamps tail lamps and what not. The dome light was replaced with an aftermarket one and it doesn't work but it might be the bulb. the radio works as well and i am able to dim and brighten it. Any ideas? I'm going to check the dome light but meanwhile maybe someone can give me some more ideas. thanks.

Lightbulb Possible Fix

You may need to resolder the pins at the rear of the instrument cluster. See my comment in previous thread:

Good luck.

Could be that the dimmer coil broke in the headlight switch.

He said he could dim and brighten the radio backlight so the coil is probably OK.

Yeah I saw that, but some radios dim when the parking lights come on and have nothing to do with the dimmer, so I thought I'd throw it out there as a possibility.
