Looking to buy a 99 dodge ram van v6 3.9 with 48000. The check engine light is on and maybe runs a little sluggish not sure? Is this anything to be concerned about and what do I look for? Any help would be appreciated.

Hard to say without knowing why the CEL is on. Will the owner let you scan it and retrieve the codes? If so, do that and post the codes here and we should be able to give you a more definitive answer.
