Hey everyone! I'm new and this is my first post.

I just purchased my van yesterday and I'm getting ready to give it an overhaul. The van was purchased as a tour van for my band and we're trying to get it up and running.

My first and foremost problem is the wiper blades do not work. It DOES squirt fluid.

When i turn the wiper blade switch i can hear a "click" from a black box underneath the steering labeled something like "intermittent box"

We put a voltage meter to the harness that goes into the wiper motor and could not get a voltage reading.

Does anyone have any ideas, this is the only major problem keeping us from getting the van on the road

today i was playing with the switch and the wipers came on for about 5 seconds....twice!

this leads me to believe that the wiper switch is bad.
does anyone know where i could find some "how-to" on replacing this?
