Default wiper problem

I just bought a used 97 Dodge 2500 van and the wipers did not work. I replaced the motor and that did not work. Then when trying to turn the wiper switch on the on position I noticed a clicking sound coming from the glove box. Looked in side a found this little box about 2x3 inches called the pulse intermittent wipe control. Went everywhere looking for the part. Finally called a dealer and got a new one it was like $71 crazy for this little thing. But anyway put it in but still with the clicking and still not working. I don't know if it's a wiring problem or what?? If anyone has an any ideas PLEASE let me know it been a pain. Thanks

Did it ever occur to you that the switch is no good?

Even if the intermittent wiper control box is shot, both low and high positions will still work. Since you heard a clicking sound I'll assume the fuse is good, but you might want to double check it just to be safe.

yeah I replaced the fuses a couple different times to be sure. Also thanks for the diagram. Hopefully i can figure something out. I'll try looking at the switch again. If you have any other contributions let me know thank you.
