1999 B1500 - P0505 Idle Problems.
That would depend on how he adjusted the idle manually. He might have adjusted it simply by opening the butterfly slightly.
A pic of each side of the throttle body would help him and us to know.
Sorry all, my window regulator seems to have given up the ghost with the window down over the weekend, so Van is back in a shop... and now I'm being told 3+ weeks on back-order for window regulators... sigh... anyway, haven't had time to do the tests you all asked me to do... I'll keep you guys posted, thank you for all the help so far!
And if anyone knows a source for a 1999 Dodge Van drivers side window regulator (power windows) - please let me know, by PM.

Will this help the OP situation, I would hope it would, if not and the IAC stays in full open condition then I would trace the IAC wiring and then check continuity between the PCM harness connector and the IAC connector for no short to engine ground and that the wire is fully intact. If then that the wiring is good then I would believe that the PCM may be faulty, if there are no other codes coming up.

Thanks for the good will from both of you - and I'm happy to see I finally get email notifications from this forum now! :-)
In the mode of - "probably the worst place"... I think the low speed fan controller is up there in that game as well... every single Winter... that low speed fan controller burns out. Gee... it's in the hvac intake and it's a resistor pack that generates heat...
Well and as of this morning new Check Engine light ( Trans has been acting funny since it was serviced - time to find out what new code I need to deal with ).
Thank you all for your help!
