Winshield wiper Problems
i have a 97 dodge b3500 15 passenger
New Issues: (any help is appreciated.)
Found this connection below the passenger side headlight, behind the panel i had to remove to get to the vacuum reservoir.

if you cant see the colors on that connection
it goes from left to right:
BLACK, BLUE WITH RED STRIPE, GREEN WITH RED STRIPE, TAN WITH RED STRIPE.
It also says 52772 B-14 on that side of the connector
and on the bottom it says 4 8 2 1
we named him Hank.
Fixed:
Windshield Wipers
Air Vents

You'll be replacing the switch or the motor. The only way to know which one is the problem is to take power readings when it's not working. If there's no power to the motor, the switch is bad. If there is power to the motor, the motor is bad.
but you could you tell me where the motor is?
It under that plastic trim piece the runs along the bottom of the windshield. You'll have to remove the big rubber seal, the wiper arms, and a bunch of screws to get it off.

if it is a recharge it would be sweet for someone to help me out by giving me some tips on how to do it/check for leaks/ how to know if the actual AC is junk and needs to be replaced.
the switches to change the vents from the defrost vents in the front of the van to the regular air vents doesn't seem to be working. not a major problem if we can get the air conditioning to work. but it would be great if its an easy fix

The defrost/vent issue is typical of when the vacuum for the vent controls is lost (broken or disconnected vacuum line). The vacuum line starts at the passenger side of the intake manifold, then runs up to the vacuum reservoir (round black ball) under the passenger headlight. From the reservoir a second vacuum line runs up and through the firewall to the vent control switch. Defrost is the default position of the vacuum actuators inside all of that ductwork under the dash. That's why a loss of vacuum will result in only having defrost.
thanks alloro! found the hose that was disconnected from the vacuum reservoir and i attached it and the vents started working! thankyou!
but when i took off the little panel that i had to remove under the headlight to get to the reservoir, i found this set of wires and something that has been disconnected.
pictures of the connection and the description of wires are in my main post.
thanks again
