Default Vanner rookie..

Hi,Guys! Glad i found this site..Brand-new to vannin',just-bought an'00 1500/5.2,127" 'Discovery' conversion on eBay; 84k,obvious good shape/no-rust,great driver! Re-man trans @ Aamco a yr-ago,no underside leaks whatever..I'm HOOKED!
Stripped the seats; gonna-keep the rear 'Captains' (occaisional use?),rear bench is electric,near-perfect,ain't-goin-back-in.
Pulled/modified drivers' 'Captain' base, lowered 5" (REALLY makes it easier getting in/out!).

I've heard from friends that own '00/'03 318's that there is a common intake /plenum problem? How/when would i notice?

Interested in lite mods/rodding; 'chips' for street/highway,K&N's,Flowmaster,etc..

ANY thing i need to ck-out? Tips/triks on the '98/'03 3rdGen Series that are common/important?

It doesn't matter. A TSB is issued when X number of models are affected in a given model year, it doesn't mean it still can't apply to other models or years.
