Default 1999 Dodge Ram 3500 318 V8 Roadtrek

Hello
Week ago returned on trip of 3000 plus miles, tried starting today, turn over, fast, fuel pump sound, wouldn't start. No start problems on trip
Replaced rotor and cap, cap wouldn't line up with screw downs, one plug wire seems short,
removed plug wires one by one from old to new cap, now wondering if I messed up doing this?
Anyone have a diagram showing plug wires to cap connections?
Appreciate your help

any chilton manual will have that. do an internet search for firing order on your van.

but if it suddenly just didn't want to start w/o any warning, why did you replace cap and wires?

do you have spark?

If you have spark and you have fuel, it should run. if not, then you need to look at injector firing and things along that line.

Here's a funny thing I've encountered a bunch of times. vehicle quit running or wouldn't start. had fuel, had spark at the coil but no spark at the plugs. Question is why? I know the answer. it was an easy fix.
