Default 1991 dodge ram van

I have a 1991 Dodge ram full size van, I just bought it from a friend. He said "he was driving 35 miles an hour and it just stalled and he coasted to a stop". When he tried to start it nothing happened. He put on a new starter and that didnt fix it. As of toady when you turn the ignition all the way foward nothing happens. I checked all the fuses, the battery and battery connection. The head lights work and the inside lights, the fourways work but the turn signal lights dont, the heater and raido dont work either. My friend said he might have loosened a wire when he changed the starter but that dosent explain why it just quit running? I think the problem is a break in a power or ground wire either between the ignition and the starter or the starter and the battery or some combination thats my best guess? Has anyone had this problem?

I'd say either the ignition switch is no good or a fusible link blew. Look for the fusible links up around the brake booster.
