Climate Control Vacuum Problem

I have a 1990 B250 318 V8 5.2L that is experiencing a very similar problem with the A/C. The air pops over to the floor vents and maybe the defrost under a load. Should I be looking in the same area for bad hoses in my 1990. THANKS!
