Default Power Lock Problem

When flipping the power lock switches on the driver and passenger doors, they unlock the front doors, but the side door and rear door do not lock/unlock.

Sometimes I'll hear a noise near the rear door which sounds like it is trying to unlock, but it does not...I typically notice this happening a long time after I have flipped the power lock switch on one of the front doors.

I have a '97 Ram van.

This is not related to Keyless/remote entry...I do not have that.

thanks for your help!

On my '89 there are 4 contacts on each set of doors.

When the doors are closed these contacts touch and allow current to pass.

These contacts oxidize. I hit them with a wire brush and make em look like copper again, then they are good for another 6 months.

Sometimes they click but do not operate the locks, until I clean them.

On my back doors, I've had to pull these contacts out a little bit so they touch firmer with the door closed.

After you get the contacts brushed down to shiny copper smear a little clear silicone grease on them. You will get six years of correct lock performance instead of only six months if you grease the contacts.
