Default 1988 Dodge Ram Van - Fuses

1988 Dodge Ram Van
V6, Auto

Need to know what the fuses are next to the glove compartment, I have the Haynes manual and it does not list what each fuse is. Its the old style round tube kind.

Is that the only fuse panel or is there another one hidden somewhere.

Thanks

That's the only fuse box, but there are fusible links up around the brake booster under the hood.

I have this 1990 fuse box layout. Maybe it's the same as yours.

The numbers on those fuses are almost exactly the same as on my '89

My conversion van came with another fuse block for the conversion lights and rear blower motor, which was on the firewall close to the parking brake.

If you are asking because you cannot get the liscence plate bulb to light, see also if the reverse lights work. Neither of these lights are fed a ground wire. And rely on the body/ frame for their grounding. The liscence plate bulb will not light if you have not screwed it back into place

The problem I had was the hazards wouldnt go on when I popped that switch out. I thought it was a fuse issue. Then I had the blinkers on then popped that switch out and the hazards worked.

Problem solved.

i need the diagram for an 87 b150. its diffrent than the one above. my regulator went out and i blew out my headlights with too much juice. they were both brand new. the fuse should have cought it. i checked and there was one blown. and like a genious i changed it without looking to see which one it was. so i need to know how big of fuses go where. there is no diagram in my van book
