Default A/C Problem

A/C problem on a 98 dodge 3500 5.2 van. I recently recieved this van with a business purchase. Seems as if the compressor has not been working for a year because it kept blowing fuses so I was told by the resent mechanic. I changed the Compressor no problem and had the system checked and charged. The compressor runs, I have condensate coming out of the black box under the hood on the passenger side I believe where the evaporator is but NO COLD AIR coming out of the vents. I noticed when I drove it home after accelerating fast the blower went from bi-level to defrost to floor and then back to bi-level all in about 1 to 2 minutes so there is a vaccuum leak. Could there be a problem with an actuator not allowing the cold air to get to the cab. Oh it does have rear vents and it seems to be cooler back there than it does in the front.
Thanks for any help in direction

Air temp, check the electronic temperature blend door actuator for proper operation. May have a bad rotary switch or faulty blend door actuator. I have unplugged and removed the actuators in order to swing the blend door manually to check and confirm their operation.

The other is indeed a vacuum leak, check the one way check valve on the passenger side of the intake manifold and the vacuum lines for cracks. Also check the vacuum ball behind the right headlamp assembly.

Some one else may know the exact location but it is in the dash, not sure if you can get to it from under the passenger side or by removing either the dog house or part of the dash cover. I have not worked on one for the Dodge van 98-03 yet. My van has the older tried and true cable control blend door system.

Remove the glovebox and it will be straight in. There will be a linkage rod connected to it that comes through the firewall.

Seems as if the blend door is working and noticed that I have A/C in the back of the van and nothing but hot air in the front. I will check the door again when I get off work. Anything it could be other than the blend door
Thanks
