Wheel alignment on a '88 B250?
Hello there.
I'm going to replace my tires in a short while, and would like to get the van tracked correct, the outer side of the front wheels' thread is worn out, so it definitely needs an alignment.
Can anyone throw me the camber, caster and toe-in specs for an 1988 B250, 318 TBi w/PS?

This numbers are from my 1989 Factory Service Manual
Acceptable Alignment range__________________________Preferred Setting
__________________________________________________ _________________
Camber -0.6 to +0.6 degrees_____________________________0 degrees
Caster(all) + 1 1/4 to +3 3/4 degrees_______________________+2 1/2 degs
Toe in (inches) -0.25 to + 0.25degrees(-1/8 to +1/8)__________0 degrees
Good luck. I will be having this done soon too as I just rebuilt nearly my whole front end.

Yep New springs too. Moog 7272's. The springs I took out were the equivalent of Moog 7270's which are thinner. At least I think they were, they could have lost that thickness in rust.

It rides so much better, and even with my alignment so far out of whack, it takes 60% less effort to keep in the center of the lane on the highway.
The 7272's would probably be too much spring for a lightly loaded Van, or a V6.

Thank you for helping me out - now i have some data for the man at the garage.
Landyacht; it's always nice with fresh parts in the front section. The stabilizers looks like poly ones. Is it an upgrade item, or stock parts?

It drives far better than it ever has since I've owned it(9 years).
The Alignment tech asked me how much I wanted for it during the post alignment test drive, kept going on about how smooth the drive train is, how good the engine sounded.
Had nothing good to say about remanufactured steering gears though, mine included.
He did like the Cup style coupler to U joint upgrade I did on the steering shaft.
Tried giving me his number If I changed my mind about selling it. Ain't gonna happen I told him. Even I won the lottery, I'm not getting rid of this van.
