1) What type of automatic transmission would my '88 Dodge Ram B150 with V6 engine have?

2) Where is your engine oil needle on your guage at....mines at L or just above with regular oil, I put in straight 30 weight from Canadian Tire, non-detergent oil which cranks it up a little higher, sometimes to half way mark. Sometimes it will go back down to L. Just wondering if this is normal. It usually sits at the first notch up from L.


Has anyone put in swivel chairs up front of their van? I just bought a pair of swivel bases off another dodge from the junk yard. My stock seats dont allow me to swivel chair all the way around, but the Suburban seats do. Plus I have 2 arm rests instead of one on the Suburban seats. My drivers side side was busted so I swapped that one out today, and installed it along with the swivel. The passenger side I did a week ago, put the stock chair on the swivel and had to move it over towards the center a good distance. So I will see. The stock seats I have now dont allow for the back rest to move at all, while the suburban ones do, they charged me $25 for the one suburban chair, and $15 I think for the 2 heavy bases.
