Has the check engine lamp been on? If so what are the codes? On your van you can do the Key Dance to pull the codes.

There is a check engine light.

If it does not turn on when you turn the key to on, not start, either the bulb is blown, or the engine computer is losing power.

Are you sure the new fuel pump is building and maintaining pressure?

Also why did you replace the fuel pump?

It can be if you are able to keep the van running by pushing on the gas pedal. If it is when you let it down to idle that it dies then yes clean the IAC and if necessary give it the "Finger treatment", that is what a Dodge Tech called it. I just did this trick that member Stev posted before on a customers truck after cleaning a very dirty IAC. You start the engine and give it gas, just enough to keep the engine running and with the air cleaner off you put one finger down over the IAC port in the throttle body. What you want to do is close off the IAC port and make the PCM draw the IAC all the way open. Once you stall the engine this way leave the key in the on position and disconnect the battery. Leave the cable off for about 2 minutes minimum and then remove the key and reattach the battery cable. Now at this point I turn the key on for 15 seconds, off for 5 (this is to encourage the PCM to reset all sensor readings and actuators), on for 5 and then start the motor. His truck started right up and idled fine.
