my seatbelt indicator stays lit all the time. in the TSM's i see the seatbelt light is substituted for the airbag light in the event that airbag light fails. i ran the guage self check and sure enough the airbag light does not illuminate.

on the airbag light one part of the book says it's a LED,another part gives the replacement bulb #.

there is no bulb holder on the back of the cluster for a airbag light,leading me to believe it is a LED.

those with a '98+,is the airbag light red? any of you know if it's replaceable inside the cluster? i would think it is not.

 

The color is either yellow or red. I just don't pay that close attention to it.

I do know that the engine light is yellow.
