I had problems with the lean burn system in my 88 conversion van. We put in a new billet dist. and the proComp 9000 (6al) juice box with ProComp coil. (e bay-kit) I changed all the plugs (bosch plat's) and put all new 8mm wires. All went in easy. Right now it gets no fuel at the carb. I'm thinking the carb will have to be replaced but I have no clue. Has anyone ever done this to a lean burn engine of this era that can help? I was hoping the kit was just plug in play when I bought it, but it's apparent that, it is not.
