To raise it that far you will have to change the studs that hold it down, or use threaded couplings to make them longer. I raised the back half of mine about 3/4" by lifting the seat and slipping spacers onto the floor studs. I then reinstalled the seat. You'd be surprise how much that little bit made a difference. Prior to doing that I felt like I was reclined back when driving. I made the spacers by cutting them off a piece of pipe.
