Default code po753 jumped pink wire trans now working

Hey to all, I have been getting the cel po753 I seen on a thread that you can ground the pink wire #30 on the white connector on the ecm, So I tried this and you could hear the relay energize, So I drove the truck and the transmission shifts great, My question is does this mean the ecm is bad, or is there something else to look at. Also how long could I leave the wire grounded and drive the vehicle, no money. And now I have the cel po443 any suggestions. Thanks in advance

fyi the pink wire is #30 on the white ecm connector I get b+ when wire is grounded and check pin #21, The van was surging when idling so I cleaned the IAC idles great now. The only thing I notice that every once in awhile the van when idling just shuts off. It cranks right back up so I was wondering if the dtc po443 might be causing this.

The wire could be broken inside the insulation.
